| Finally got a deer down and not a second too soon. We used the last of the venison out of the freezer a couple days ago. This is the first deer to walk within bow range this year and I'm grateful for him. I was fortunate to make a pretty good shot on him and my new broadheads, Exodus by QAD, did exactly what they were supposed to do. He piled up 50 yards from the impact and was done for. I praise God for a hospitable landowner, a safe hunt, an effective shot, meat on the table and a family to share it with. |
